RT8292BH is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down (buck) DC-DC converter IC manufactured by Richtek Technology. It is capable of delivering up to 2A output current from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 23V. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 15V using external resistors, making it suitable for various power supply designs. With a fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz, it allows the use of smaller external components and achieves high efficiency up to 95%. The SOP-8 exposed pad package provides improved thermal performance.
